About Josephine

Meet Josephine, a lifelong maker who’s been creating since she could hold a crayon and a tub of pva glue!

After studying languages, she spent 15 years in Rome working in retail design.

During the pandemic, having returned to the U.K., Josephine rediscovered the transformative power of art through printmaking, inspiring her to launch Artisan Lab - a space where creativity and well-being come together for joyful self-expression.

The purpose of Artisan Lab is to provide a welcoming, inclusive creativity hub with 3 distinct points of focus.

Retail Space

where you can peruse curated, beautifully made hand made treasures including contemporary Art, ceramics, jewellery, prints, cards, books, vintage and more.

Workshop Space

regular, informal workshops which allow you explore various media and create finished pieces, all with a focus on mindfulness and wellbeing. We also host bespoke celebration workshops and business Employee Wellbeing sessions. Email to find out more.

a small Illustrator's studio for josephine.b designs, furnished with a comfy sofa and a library of arty crafty reference books to help you unleash your inspiration.
